How Long it Takes to Paint a Portrait
 he length of time depends on what I'm painting, additionally, I varnish each painting which adds drying time before framing or shipping.
Dogs—sometimes an 8" x 10" head portrait of a dog can take one day, others are more complicated and take a week.
People—human portraits take much longer because of the interracial nuances that bring out an individuals personality.
Landscapes—usually work on anywhere from a week to a month.
When I can Start a Painting for You
 hen I'm able to begin your painting depends on how many orders are in line before yours. Like any business, it often is all or nothing. Please Contact me and I 'll give you a fair estimate of time. Remember, if you are planning for a holiday gift, place your order far in advance.
Pricing
 ecause of the many variables involved with custom ordering, such as size, head shot, ¾ or full body, number of subjects, scenery added etc., estimates for pricing has to be done on an individual basis by contacting the artist directly. On average, starting prices for the smallest (8” x 10”) dog portraits, head only, start at $175, people portraits start at $300. and landscapes $400.

 nce the portrait is completed, you can view it online or visit my studio. Only if you are completely satisfied with the results do I ask for payment prior to delivery.
Payment
  accept payment by cash, credit/debit cards, check or money order. I will need to wait until checks have cleared before delivering your painting. Payment plans are also accepted, in a "lay-away" method. After final payment your painting will be delivered.
Delivery
nce payment has been received, I will contact you to arrange a day best suited to you for your portrait to arrive. Delivery is by UPS mail next day by special delivery, which will require a signature. Please note, postage is not included in the price and does vary according to the size and/or weight, framed or unframed.
